Biography
Lili Su is an assistant professor in the College of Engineering at Northeastern University, based in Boston. She holds a courtesy appointment in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences.
Su aims to design provably resilient yet efficient distributed algorithms for large-scale machine learning systems. In particular, she focuses on distributed and collaborative learning, fault-tolerant and resilient computing, multi-agent systems, and autonomous vehicles. Her work has earned her the NSF CAREER Award, the Sony Faculty Innovation Award, a Rising Star in EECS honor, and the Best Student Paper Award at SSS.
Su co-directs the Center for Signal Processing, Imaging, Reasoning, and Learning (SPIRAL) at Northeastern and is a guest editor of ACM Transactions on Modeling and Performance Evaluation of Computing Systems.
