BS in Computer Science and Public Health
The BS in Computer Science and Public Health is a combined major (Khoury College and Bouvé College of Health Sciences) that provides students with a strong foundation and experiential education integrating studies in public health and computer science. The program covers the social determinants of health, biostatistics and epidemiology, health communication, and health education and program planning. This degree focuses on the fundamentals of program design, software development, and advanced algorithms and data.

- Apply mathematical foundations, algorithmic principles, and computer science theory in the modeling and design of computer-based systems in a way that demonstrates comprehension of the tradeoffs involved in design choices.

Matthew Goodwin
Matthew Goodwin is a professor at Khoury College, jointly appointed with the Bouvé College of Health Sciences. He works with people on the autism spectrum to develop and evaluate behavioral assessment and intervention technologies, enabling caregivers to more capably and compassionately assist their loved ones.
