Project Forge Lab

A student-led initiative empowering peers to turn ideas into real-world projects

Project Forge Lab was founded in 2025 by a group of CS and interdisciplinary students as a space for taking initiative without having to wait for a course or a professor to assign a problem. We focus on hands-on, collaborative learning by encouraging members to form small teams and develop software or digital solutions outside the classroom. If you’re looking for a space to experiment, build, and grow, this is the place

We believe the best way to learn is by doing, and we wanted to make that process visible, supported, and shared. Members join a team of three to four peers to work on real projects using tools they already know — or want to explore — like GitHub, Figma, or React.

We meet biweekly for sprint reviews, guided by regular check-ins with our supervisors. Optional peer mentorship is available, and we celebrate progress at every step. Whether you’re just starting out or already experienced, there’s space for your curiosity and skills here.
