Biography

Cailyn Ellard is an assistant director of graduate student services in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.

Prior to joining Northeastern, Ellard worked at Merrimack College, her alma mater, as a first-year academic advisor to undergraduate students in the Girard School of Business, then at Suffolk University as an undergraduate academic advisor. In her work with undergraduate students, she managed course registration, major and minor selection, study abroad course approval, graduation planning, and served as a liaison to student athletes and students on academic probation.

At Khoury College, Ellard enjoys supporting and connecting with students, building meaningful relationships, and being surrounded by innovative faculty, staff and students. Aside from advising Khoury graduate students in Boston, Ellard advises the Boston-based Khoury graduate student groups, manages the Boston graduate student ambassador, and serves as the main contact to the PlusOne Program transition and the MS in Robotics program.

Outside of work, Ellard enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying out new restaurants, and watching reality TV.
