Sarah Maravetz is a director of data analytics in the Khoury College of Computer Sciences at Northeastern University, based in Boston.

Maravetz organizes data streams and creates data analytics for Khoury College. She enjoys exploring the story that data can tell, especially if it reveals unexpected and previously unseen patterns. Her prior experience in higher education covered many facets of college administration, but she found her passion in exploring data and designing graphics. As someone who started out in a creative field and discovered an aptitude for data and computers as an adult, Maravetz finds Khoury College’s mission of “CS for Everyone” compelling.

Maravetz received her Master of Professional Studies in Information Visualization from Maryland Institute College of Art, where she worked for 12 years before joining Northeastern.
